Working as An Animal Detective

There are other names for animal detectives. They can be called as humane law enforcement officers, animal police or cruelty investigators. These people were trained and certified in the city or place they are working. They aid injured and abandoned animals. They are also responsible for imposing cruelty laws and some of them can arrest people who do not follow the said laws. Not only that, they teach other people on how to properly take care of animals. They are also the one responsible for looking into illegal dogfights, hunting and also inspect pet facilities and other animal cruelty protests which are being handled to them.

Animal Detectives are part of different animal welfare groups around the world. Examples are the Best Friends Animal Society, Dumb Friends League, Human Society of United States, PetSmart Charities and SPCA. These are just some of the thousands of organizations around the world which protects animal rights.  To be able to properly implement animal laws, they usually wear or carry official badges with them and even uniforms.
Animal Detectives also have their own animal forensics like humans do. Like what humans do, these investigators study bone fragments, pool of blood and other things you can find in an animal crime scene. The ASPCA is one of those organizations that uses animal forensics to be able to solve animal cases. They also have state-of-the-art equipment for different kinds of forensic uses.
