5 Wrong Animal Stereotypes

Five worst animal stereotypes
1.       Dogs are naturally loyal to their owners

We are all familiar and touched by the story of a dog in Japan named Hachiko, one of the “loyal” dogs. Their loyalty is actually because you give them food, shelter and warmth. An experiment was conducted where they programmed a robot to take care of the dog and a human who gave nothing to the dog. Obviously, you know who it picked.

2.       Cats are unfriendly
Like humans, their personalities can also differ. Unlike, dogs, they are always focused on something and that is why sometimes, they don’t give any response to you. Cats can also show attachment to their owner by rubbing their body on to your skin.

3.       Cows are ignorant
Even though they only chew grass all day and usually bump other cows they actually have emotions and intelligence. An organization have concluded in one of their observations that cows also make friends with their own kind, hold bitterness and deep sorrow.

4.       Owls have great wisdom
We always compare wisdom and knowledge to owls. But they are not as wise as we thought. Even though they have great hunting skills, their brain is not proportion to their built and they can’t be easily trained like other kinds of birds such as parrots and pigeons. For India, they have a different perception about owls. Their culture teaches them that owls are ignorant because they always sit on a bark and stare blankly.

5.       Sloths are sluggish

When our teachers think that we are lazy at school, they usually compare us to a sloth and that is not a good comparison. Their slow pace actually greatly conserves their body energy. They only sleep an average of 9.6 hours each day which is close to the normal sleeping duration of a human being.
