Doodling

Learning To Do Something You Never Done Before
Aside from painting, drawing and photography classes, you should learn to do other things and you might succeed in that so called skills. Have Your Own Sketch Book
You can make a sketchbook out of papers that aren't used anymore but can still be an alternative canvass for your art works. You can always browse them through time and look at the improvements you made for every art work. It can boost your memory capability and waste your time in a good way. Sketch in a place where no one will ask you what are you drawing, to draw something for them or to annoy you in general. This is called creating a psychological distance. Even though it doesn't look good, try to finish the whole piece.
