Everyone has wondered at some point what they’d do if they won the lottery. Sports cars, yachts, private jets, are all common answers of what people would buy. However, if you were one of the richest people on earth, what would you do with all that money? Would you spend hundreds of millions on a house just for yourself?Well, these owners of these richness decide to make these most expensive houses. 
  1. 18-19 Kensington Palace Gardens
Lakshmi Mittal, head of the largest steel manufacturing company in the world and ranked the 88th richest man in India, is the owner of the beautiful Kensington Palace Gardens. Located in London, and across from his fellow neighbours Prince William and Kate Middleton, this property is valued at $222 million, which includes 12 bedrooms, an indoor pool, Turkish baths, and parking for 20 vehicles.

Another slightly more expensive home, valued at $248.5 million, is Four Fairfield Pond, located in Sagaponack, New York. This massive 29-bedroom home is owned by Ira Rennert, owner of the holding company, the Renco Group. This house boasts an enormous 63 acres of land, which hosts its own power plant, tennis and squash courts, and three swimming pools. The inside also contains a bowling alley, basketball court, and a 91-foot long dining room.

This next property comes in at a whopping 750 million dollars. Villa Leopolda, located in Cote D’Azure, France, is a 50-acre estate home to a greenhouse, pool house, swimming pool, helipad, an outdoor kitchen, and another mansion, used as a guest house. The owner of this pricey home is Lily Safra, widow to the successful Lebanese banker, William Safra.

Now it’s time for the magnificent billion dollar properties. Antilla, a 27-story building in India, owned by Mukesh Ambani (India’s richest man) is valued at 1 billion dollars. This gigantic structure is quite a sight. It contains six underground parking floors, three helipads and needs a staff of 600 people to maintain it. Antilla is deemed to be the World's second most expensive residential property

We all know who owns Buckingham Palace, but do you know what its value is? Approximately 1.5 billion dollars, but sadly it’s not for sale. The Queen’s residence holds 775 rooms, 52 bedrooms, 188 staff rooms, 78 bathrooms and 92 offices. Opened in 1703, and rebuilt over many years, Buckingham Palace is still considered the most expensive property on Earth today.
