When students find a place to live, they make sure that they live near to their school. It is less expensive, some even are just walking distance. Waking up is also a problem and when the destination is near, it is not a problem anymore rather than living in an urban place waking up 3 hours before your starting time and paying for a 2 hour trip to work or school. It is also convenient when it's near to restaurants and shopping centers. If it is in the heart of a city, everything will be in reach in just a few steps and no need to be transported by a car, taxi or even a public bus or train.

When you are in a place filled with a lot of apartments such as in urban places, you can pick from the cheapest and if you have enough money, to the most luxurious ones. However, if there are a lot of renters in these places, there will be a bigger chance that it will noisier and crowded. You won't be able to have an alone time or even sleep especially if the wholes are not sound proof and you won't be able to find space especially if you own a car. Yet, it is proven that city apartments are more expensive and have more relation to crimes.

There are a lot of apartments that have indoor furniture such as tables, sofas and television, refrigerator and beds. This will be able to save your time from buying one and avoid spending money especially on the transportation of these materials. High speed internet will usually be available.
