Embarrassing Things

You were in a hurry because you needed to use the bathroom or cubicle and you forgot that there was someone inside using it. You might have forgotten to knock because you were busy looking at your phone and looking at funny memes. You're lucky if it wasn't your boss, Or else, you'll get fired eventually. It's actually better than being embarrassed everyday walking next to him.

Everyone has been into embarrassing moments, some of us might have experienced it while they were alone or worst, with a common crowd. Here are the most embarrassing and interesting things most people have done already that you might relate to.

We sometimes enjoy arguing or getting really into a conversation that you might have just sprayed saliva on someone's face. ( #showeralert). You're lucky if you're the only one who noticed that teeny weeny drop of saliva on their food with billions of bacteria and viruses from your moth. Ew! You just ignore it and act like nothing happened or blame rain, when you are indoors.

People can be forgetful but it's awkward if you can't identify the person you met not just once, not twice but more than that. This is pretty much common in the internet (where they use codenames as their screen names) and also in gatherings and stuff. "Heeeeeey...Jackie""My name is not Jackie. It's Jesse"."Oh, I know, I was just messing with you, trying to know if you still remember your name. You know, people getting forgetful nowadays, even forgetting their own names""Riiiight".

All your friends, Linda, Macy, Jeff, Mark and Stacy were all invited to a party and you were the only one left out. Worst, the party host was closest to you of all those people. And you're just sitting their, with your eyes popping out and your heart exploding with jealousy, watching your friends post pictures having a good time partying, making you feel really bad.

Policemen

If people think about officers of the law, they think about grumpy and serious police officers. But hold on, there is more to that.
Like any other human being, a police officer is also capable of being terrified with what he or she hears, sees, touches, smells and tastes while working his job. Most officers experienced traumatic events in their lives. This is where psychologists come in. They debrief the people about a recent happening during their line of duty.
When an officer of the law give you speed tickets, some police officers also give "positive tickets". Many people believed that it originated from a police man in British Columbia named Ward Clapham. He believes that police officers should not only focus on the bad things that people do but also the good deeds that are worthy of rewards. It has been proven that when you commence someone from doing a great thing, they will strive to continue doing the "good thing". However, people should do right things because of what they will get after but because it is morally right.
If you believed that ALL people who want to be police officers must have great knowledge of self-defense, laws and using of firearms, you are wrong. In fact, most applicants have zero knowledge about the things I just mentioned. They never studied a course of criminology, enrolled in a karate class or read the law itself. However, training are provided for them before they can already be called police officers. During the training days they are taught of constitutional, state and traffic laws, defensive and offensive physical training, firearms and defense driving, how to investigate and write a report and even the new technologies like laptops, fax machines and printers.
Watch how braves these cops in the video are.

Television Advertising

In the United Kingdom, more than $15 Billion worth of advertisements were intended for kids living the United States. In the US, an average kid watches 100 advertisements. A child must turn over 8 years old to be able to critically understand a simple advertisement. In order to convince children to ask their parents to buy a certain product, they apply psychological factors. For example, letting the kid believe that when they buy that toy, he or she will become popular. In fact, half of those who bought advertised products felt good and comfortable. And when they do advertise to children, they use a little older ones to be able to act as role models.

Advertising techniques are so common that people watching them are already laughing their bums off. Advertisers use music to portray the emotions they want to the consumers to feel. Like other songs, rhythms can get stuck in their head and they will remember the product. Speaking of emotions, advertising is mostly focused on the emotional state more than the facts. They direct towards the most common human emotions such as love, hate and desire. Most famous celebrities endorse a product, this is called a "star power" where people will buy their product because the one advertising it is a famous and reputable person. There is another technique called the "bandwagon" where they let the people watching feel they're winning or they are on a better side. It is also common to hear advertisers saying "because we care" and " the taste of real..".
Advertisements on the televisions are most profitable than any other advertising techniques such as billboards, online and brochures. There are new inventions that let make people watch television advertisements. In fact, the television is the most famous talked about medium of all ages.

Eating Fruits Wrong

It is common for people to be ignorant on how to eat unusual fruits or fruits they have never seen before. Examples are Rambutan and Mangosteen. However, these fruits are very common to us but many people still does not know how to eat it properly. Learn this interesting facts.
When slicing a Kiwi you do not cut off the sides. Instead, you cut off the bottom ends and scoop it out with a spoon. This way, you will be not cutting off the core of the fruit itself that you are supposed to eat. You do not peel Pomegranate  with only your hands. The juice might squeeze out and into your eyes or clothes. Instead, you cut the outer layer in half then turn these two side on different directions to open it. Next, you stretch it and hit the back with something hard like a wooden spoon to pour the inside into the bowl. Like the Kiwi, you do not cut off the skin of a Mango. The right thing to do is slice into three in a lengthwise direction then slide into into a rim of a glass to pour the inside into the glass itself. Or, you can just eat it by scooping it with a spoon. Similar with the Pomegranate, you do not peel an orange with your hands. You need to cut around the outside then pull the rind. Do not waste the half of a Strawberry just to take the top off. What you can do is push a straw starting at the bottom to remove the top leaf. You do not cut slices through a Watermelon. You have to slice it in half in a crosswise direction instead. Make three semi cuts on each side then slice around the watermelon. Slice the inside into chunks then pour it into a bowl.
Watch this video to understand it more.
