1.       Chameleons

Long ago since human beings already existed, we already witnessed a lot of calamities and disasters around the world. Most have been really powerful and killed a lot of people and damaged the world's resources. Here are the three of the most known natural disasters around the world.

Spanish Influenza (1918)

Known as the 1918 flu pandemic, It affected over 500 million people around the world and even the most isolated parts of the arctic and the Pacific Islands. The virus killed 3-5 percent of the total population of the world, which was estimated to be one-fourth of the US and one-fifth of the world, a lot more than the wars of the old days.  Not only the adults and people with weak immune systems but also the young adults. They believe that the virus originated in the country of China.

Japan Earthquake (2011)

People died, infrastructures ruined and many more happened after a magnitude-9 earthquake struck northeastern Japan that resulted into a disastrous tsunami after a few minutes. Not only it affected Japan but also other parts of the world like the Antarctica's ice sheet. It was recorded as the most strongest earthquake in Japan and the fourth of the world. The aftereffect which is the tsunami traveled almost 10 km through the lands of Japan. Because of this, the country suffered a level 7 nuclear meltdown which affected nearby citizens.

Typhoon Haiyan (2013)

Worse than hell, Typhoon Haiyan destroyed central states of the Philippines on November 2013. Philippines are known for natural disasters and it is believed that this is one of the worst one in their history. There have been more than 2,300 people killed. To be able to recover fully, they will need an estimated of $15 Billion. After the disaster hit the worldwide news, people around the world started donating to be able to help the country stand on their feet. Until now, the nation is still working on how to go back to their daily lives after a crucial event in the lives of the citizens.
