Man With The Most Movies


Oliver Hardy is known to be the man with the most movies starred in the history. Along with him is Stan Laurel. Here are interesting facts about their most famous movies of all time.

The Music Box

Released in 1932, The Music Box was a comedy movie about the two workers ( starring Laurel and Hardy) trying to find ways to be able to move a piano to a place upstairs using large flight of steps. It won the first Academy Award for Live Action Short Film during the same year.

Helpmates

Helpmates is another film comedy by the duo. It only plays for 21 minutes and 5 seconds. The cast included Stan laurel, Oliver Hardy, Blanche Payson, Robert Callahan and Bobby Burns. It was the first black-and-white film to be processed with film colorization.

Sons of the Desert

One of Luarel and Hardy's greatest films, it was originally titled as Fraternally Yours. Last 2012, it was considered to be important to the history of the United States and therefore was preserved in the National Film Registry. The movie was able to be recognized in a number of American Film Institute recognition and also nominations.

Way Out West

In this 1937 film, there were a lot of movie quotes that were remembered, which were:
"A lot of weather we've been having lately"

"Tell me, tell me about my dear dear daddy, is it true that he's dead?"
"Well we hope he is, they buried him."
"Oh it can't be, what did he die of?"

Romance Movies



Want to watch Romance movies. Here are some interesting facts of some great movies.

Adventureland

Not only it's a romance movie but it is also a movie that will make you laugh. The movie is mainly starring Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart. The movie was focused on a summer 1987 where James have big plans to be able to study in Europe and continue his degree of Journalism. However, because of financial problems, he needed to find a part time job where he was brought to Adventureland which is an amusement park where he will meet Emily. They will quickly develop feelings for each other after their first meeting.

The American President

Released in 1995, this romantic-comedy focuses the love story of the president with a government employee which is Sydney Ellen Wade. You will not just see love story but also political scenes on how a government official work and live everyday.

Kissing Jessica Stein

This 2001 romantic independent film was directed by Charles Herman-Wurmfeld. This movie was based on a 1997 play which was entitled as Lipschtick. It's about Jessica Stein who had a lot failed many dates and decided to answer an advertisement in the newspaper about wanting to find a lesbian. You will be able to see how Jessica reacts about accepting the offer and finding to like lesbian dating.

Much Ado About Nothing

This film is based from a play by a famous person named William Shakespeare. It is a romantic-comedy movie directed by Joss Whedon. It is the combination of elements of robust hilarity but have serious matters over honor, shame and court politics.  

My Bestfriend's Wedding

This film is one of the two famous films of Julia Roberts. It was one of the highest grossing film of 1997. She was supposed to marry her best friend but she didn't accept it. After few years, he married another woman and she became jealous. She tries to stop their marriage in any way.
